Water Plant Operator/Equipment Operator position in the Public Works Department.
High school graduate or equivalent. Applicants must be eighteen (18) years of age, hold a valid driver's license, be able to obtain a commercial driver's license and be able to pass a Class II Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection, Wastewater Treatment and Class III Water Treatment Certification Tests.
Equipment operation experience preferred, but not required. Salary DOE and full benefit package provided.

Police Officer
The City of Carrington, ND will be accepting applications for a Full Time Police Officer. Applicants must be ND POST Board licensed or licensable. Full benefit package provided with outstanding health insurance benefits. The city contributes 82% of the premium (single, single plus dependents, or family policy) of health and dental. The city pays 100% of vision premium. Starting salary is $68,000, depending upon experience.
The city is willing to send an individual who is not licensed to a 13 week academy (must sign 2 year contract). Individuals are paid as they attend training. Uniforms and gear provided.

Seasonal Laborer
The City of Carrington is hiring for a Seasonal Laborer (Summer) in the Public Works Department.
Applicants must be eighteen (18) years of age and hold a valid driver's license.
Position responsibilities to include: Mowing & Weed Eating, Painting, Street Cleanup, Street Sign Maintenance, and other duties assigned.

Job Training Assistance
A program is available that assists a new or expanding primary sector business with training new employees. The cost of the training under the program is paid for in whole or in part with the income tax withheld from the new employees.
